Microwave

The brand and model may have changed over the years but most late models incorporated the Samsung MR5491G Microwave Oven. This is NOT a convection microwave oven. Some earlier models may have used a Sharp oven.

It has an oven capacity of 1.0 cu. ft. and a maximum power output of 1000 watts. It will draw up to 1400 watts of power when running.  Outside dimensions are 20 11/32" (W) x 13 11/32" (H) x 14 5/8" (D). It weighs 35.3 lbs.

This product was the subject of a manufacturer's recall to replace defective keypads. See the Appliance Recalls page.

To my knowledge, this product is no longer available. If your unit fails, it probably is not economically repairable and you should check the "Microwave Convection Oven Modifications" page for a suitable replacement.

Range

A Magic-Chef 2-burner range came with the model QD and FD whereas the model HD came with a 3-burner range and optional oven. All models were propane powered. The 3-burner unit on the HD has igniters instead of pilot lights. The 2-burner unit doesn't have the igniters, so you need matches or a long nosed butane lighter.

Oven

The Magic-Chef oven was an option item only available on the model HD. Vehicles without the oven had 2 more storage drawers instead. All models were propane powered with igniters instead of pilot lights.
